Designed to stand as a contemporary and landmark artwork for the Amberton Beach estate on WA’s northern coast, this piece stands more than 10 metres tall and comprises four leaf-like strands. The designs considered the location of the artwork, the surroundings, the climate conditions and transportation and installation logistics. Connection with the Coast is engaging, captivating and imaginative as well as being visually exciting for locals and visitors.

For this piece, Jason drew inspiration from the importance of the local flora to create an artwork that is vibrant and universally appealing. It reinforces a human connection to our cultural backgrounds and links us to the present and future.
